Meet Dayodag

Meet Dayodag. He is a 24 year old music artist from Chicago, Illinois. He is nigerian born, but chicago raised.

“I was born in the trenches and someday I hope my music can take me to the hills.” -Dayodag.

He started writing music at age 17 for fun and as hobby. He never took it serious until last year (2020). Everyone around him pushed him to pursue a music career, because he has impeccable talent that should not go unnoticed or to waste. He dropped his first two songs January of 2021. He plans to continue and release songs throughout the year and into the future.

His music is hip hop, while his still is more of a melodic drill. He talks about his past with a melody. His most successful track right now is his second released song titled, “Hurt Again.” He opens up about his close friends and brothers that have unfortunately passed away, and about the lifestyle they were living. His songs are deep and heart felt and have great beats that anyone can get down to.

Dayodag is inspired by rappers like Lil Durk, Polo G, Young Pappy, Taysav, and G Herbo. Real Chicago legends was the reason he picked up a mic in the first place.
